Job summary

Dollarama is seeking an Analyst, FP&A to join the finance team in Canada. The role blends operational and corporate reporting, budgeting, and financial analysis, partnering with business teams to support strategic decisions.

You will contribute to management and Board reporting, build financial models, and perform ad hoc analyses for key initiatives. The successful candidate will work closely with senior FP&A members, participate in the annual budget cycle, and help improve reporting processes

Qualifications

• 2+ years of FP&A, operational finance, or similar analytical role.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
• CPA designation (or in progress) preferred.
• Rigour, attention to detail and ability to meet recurring deadlines autonomously.
• Good presentation and communication skills; comfortable interacting with business partners.
• Advanced Excel skills; Power BI or similar tools are an asset.
• Retail or operations focused finance experience is an asset.
• Bilingual (French and English), spoken and written.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly operational reporting (period, and quarterly), including KPIs and performance drivers.
• Prepare capital expenditure reporting and analysis, including new store investment analysis, payback, and capitalized costs.
• Prepare clear, concise presentations for senior leadership and the Board.
• Play an active role in the annual budget process, including data preparation, scenario modelling, and presentation support.
• Support the annual social audits, ESG scope 3 reporting, and AIF disclosure requirements.
• Deliver ad hoc financial and operational analyses to support decision making.
• Act as a finance partner to other departments for data requests, insights, and analytical support.
• Continuously improve reporting processes and analytical tools.
