Desjardins is seeking a senior internal audit advisor specializing in data to lead audits on governance, quality, and lifecycle of data across major initiatives. You will assess data architectures, controls, and risk, and provide value-added recommendations to strengthen governance and compliance.
The role requires strong communication, executive writing, and the ability to influence cross-functional teams, with fluency in French and working knowledge of English.
As a senior internal audit advisor specializing in data, you participate in audit activities related to data governance, management and valorization processes, particularly for large strategic, technological and cross-sector initiatives related to data. In this role, you create value by providing the organization with independent assurance on the control of operations, risk management, and control and governance processes. You lead and influence audit mandates related to data governance, management and valorization. You also serve as an expert in evaluating data architectures and the effectiveness of controls in place for technological capabilities and data platforms. You help develop value-added recommendations for Desjardins that reflect internal frameworks, regulatory requirements and market best practices. Why become an internal auditor specializing in data?
