Job summary

Arcadis is seeking an Intermediate/Senior Structural Engineer for the Vancouver office to lead structural analysis and design for diverse projects, from data centers to transportation structures. You will collaborate with global offices, perform seismic assessments, and prepare bid docs while mentoring junior staff.

The role requires a Civil Engineering degree with 5+ years of experience, BC P.Eng status or eligibility, and proficiency in ETABS, SAFE, Robot, SAP2000, REVIT, and Navisworks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required; Master's in Structural Engineering is an asset.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant structural design and construction support experience.
• Licensed Professional Engineer in British Columbia or eligible for registration an asset.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design of buildings and structures.
• Prepare drawings, specifications, and bid documentation.
• Coordinate with architecture, electrical, and mechanical teams.
• Conduct seismic analysis, design, and performance assessment.
• Review submittals and provide QA/QC on design deliverables.
• Support site reviews to ensure construction aligns with design intent.
