Job summary

TWD is seeking an Intermediate/Senior Cost Controller to monitor, forecast and report project costs across EPCM projects from our Burlington, ON office. You will work with project managers, engineers and finance to maintain cost transparency and support proactive financial decisions on complex multidisciplinary projects.

The role emphasizes active cost control, change management and governance, ensuring costs stay within baseline and are justifiably adjusted with client approval where needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Finance, Construction Management, or related discipline.
• Intermediate Role: 4–9 years of cost control experience.
• Senior Role: 10+ years of cost control on large-scale projects.
• Proficient in cost management and ERP-based systems.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed project cost control systems, budgets and forecasts.
• Monitor actual costs against budgets, track commitments and report variances.
• Manage changes to project scope and integrate cost impacts into forecasts.
