CHIL is seeking a Senior Interior Designer to lead the delivery of hospitality and multi-family residential interiors. You will guide the design process from concept through construction, ensuring functionality, aesthetics, and regulatory compliance for the Canadian context.

Qualificações

• Degree or Diploma from a CIDA-accredited Interior Design program (or equivalent Canadian-recognised institution).
• 10+ years of professional interior design experience in hospitality, multi-family residential, or mixed-use sectors.
• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and 3D visualization tools (SketchUp, Enscape, Rhino, etc.).
• Solid understanding of Canadian building codes, accessibility standards, and local permitting processes.
• Experience in preparing detailed design documentation, FF&E packages, and construction drawings to Canadian industry standards.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.

Responsabilidades

• Lead concept development, space planning, material selection, FF&E direction, and design narrative for hospitality and multi-family projects.
• Deliver client presentations, design packages, and visual storytelling materials.
• Develop high-quality documentation to support pricing, tendering, and construction.
• Produce interior design deliverables across all phases from concept to construction documentation.
• Coordinate with architectural, MEP, lighting, and sustainability teams for cohesive delivery.
• Review drawings, millwork/finish schedules, and specifications for quality control.
• Conduct site visits, review shop drawings, and support contract administration during construction.
• Mentor and guide junior designers, promoting collaboration and best practices.

Formação académica
