Job summary

DesignAgency is seeking a Senior Project Manager: Design to oversee the full project lifecycle from concept to close-out for interior design initiatives. You will lead a team, coordinate with contractors and consultants, and manage budgets, schedules and client expectations while ensuring design integrity and QA/QC across deliverables.

The role demands strong leadership, extensive PM experience in hospitality or branded environments, and proficiency with Revit and AutoCAD.

Qualifications

• Interior Design Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 6 years as a Project Manager within interior design.
• Experience leading complex, large-scale full project lifecycle (concept, DD, CD, CA, install).
• Strong understanding of construction methods, millwork, detailing, and consultant coordination.
• Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules and staffing.
• Ability to mentor junior designers and manage multiple concurrent projects.
• Excellent client-facing communication with VIP/hospitality or branded operators.
• Understanding of QA/QC, drawing standards and documentation best practices.
• Strong problem-solving and risk-mitigation skills.
• Knowledge of Ontario Building Code.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects from concept through install and close-out.
• Set up project standards, documents and information workflows.
• Coordinate schedules, budget, quality, and client expectations.
• Communicate design intent with contractors and consultants.
• Mentor junior designers and drive design capability improvements.
• Manage client and consultant communications and meetings.
• Oversee purchasing, installation, site administration and progress documentation.
• Ensure QA/QC of drawings and specifications.
