Overview

Data is at the heart of any organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining data integration solutions that enable the business to extract value from data. This role will involve working closely with business stakeholders, data analysts, data scientists, and other stakeholders to ensure data is available, accurate, and secure. The ideal candidate will have experience with data integration tools and techniques, as well as strong problem-solving and communication skills.

This position offers a vast spectrum of experience, where you will have broad responsibilities, such as scaling our integrations and architecting solutions, all to build a growing business while working cross-functionally with a variety of stakeholders.

This role will be based in Toronto, Canada and reports directly to the Manager, Integrations.

What You Will Do

• Design, build, and maintain data integration solutions to ensure data is available, accurate, and secure
• Collaborate with data analysts, data scientists, and other stakeholders to understand their data needs and requirements
• Create and maintain data integration pipelines, ETL processes, and APIs
• Build error handling flows to report on issues and reprocess failed events
• Troubleshoot and resolve data integration issues, errors, and failures
• Ensure data quality, integrity and security
• Keep up-to-date with the latest data integration tools and techniques, and recommend improvements to our existing processes
• Build out test cases to ensure integrations are working correctly
  
  

Who You Are

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field
• 3+ years of experience in data engineering, ETL, and API development
• Proven experience as a Data Engineer/Integrations Developer or similar role
• Strong understanding of data integration tools, technologies, design patterns and techniques
• Experience with ETL tools such as Airflow, Informatica, or MuleSoft
• Strong SQL programming skills and experience with databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, or PostgreSQL
• Experience with data warehousing and data modeling
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Experience using CI/CD tools to manage end-to-end deployment lifecycle
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

• MuleSoft Platform certified for Architect/Developer.
• Boomi Platform certified for Architect/Developer.
• Warehouse automation or logistics experience is an asset
