  3. Participate and share ideas in technical and architecture discussions, collaborating with researchers and engineers.
  4. Advocate and set patterns for software development.

Qualifications:

  1. MS/PhD or Bachelors degree with a minimum of 4 years of industry experience in Computer Science, Robotics and/or similar technical field(s) of study.

  4. Understanding of test-driven and API-driven development methodologies.
  5. Experience designing interfaces between systems.
  6. Experience with system design/architecture, algorithms, data structure design, and low-level threading and graphics.
  7. Experience working with internal cross-functional partners/stakeholders when building software frameworks.
  8. Experience with software performance, optimization, and profiling.
  9. Experience with concurrency and determinism.
  10. Open-minded and collaborative team player with willingness to help others.
  11. Passionate about self-driving technologies, solving hard problems, and creating innovative solutions.

Bonus/nice to have:

  1. Experience with game development or building simulators.
  2. Experience in autonomous systems, robotics or machine learning.
  3. Experience working in parallel computing environments and in emulation at scale.
  4. Experience building software systems from scratch.
  5. Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
