Job summary

Tech Talent International is seeking a Senior Integration Platform Engineer in Montreal, a hybrid role balancing on-site and remote work. You will develop, evolve, and operate critical integration services enabling real-time data exchanges between business systems and partners.

The role covers development, testing, performance, automation, and production operations, with emphasis on high availability and observability. English and French are required; candidates must be based in Quebec.

Qualifications

7+ years in backend development or integration.
Strong Java and Spring Boot experience.
Significant experience with Kafka and event architecture.
AWS and Kubernetes experience.

Responsibilities

Develop robust integration and microservices services.
Design and implement Kafka flows.
Develop data transformation connectors and mechanisms.
Participate in automated and performance testing activities.
Contribute to CI/CD pipelines.
Participate in the analysis and resolution of incidents.
Implement observability, logging and alerting mechanisms.
Optimize service performance, resiliency, and stability.

Job description

Tech Talent International (SI) supplies technical talent to a variety of clients ranging from Fortune 100/500/1000 companies to small and mid-sized organizations in Canada/US and Europe.

We currently have a role as an Senior Integration Platform Engineerwith our large consulting client, working for a large modernization project for a public sector, crown corporation in the Montreal area.

Role: Senior Integration Platform Engineer

Type: Permanent or Long Term Contract

Location: Hybrid - Montreal, QC -(2/3 days per week onsite)

Salary: Base salary ranges from $120,000 - $140,000 (depending on experience) + 9% bonus + 4-5 weeks paid vacation + 6% RRSP matching + benefits + sick/personal day + cell phone allowance + discounts for public transit and may other perks

Contract Pay Rate: $90 - $110/hr (freelance/incorporated)

Language Requirements: English & French
