Job summary

Mott MacDonald is seeking a Consultant to support the delivery of infrastructure advisory services for public and private sector clients in Canada. You will work on complex mandates across the infrastructure lifecycle, from planning and investment to procurement, delivery and asset management.

The role emphasizes analytical problem solving, governance and risk management, with collaboration across regional and global teams.

Qualifications

• A post-secondary degree in engineering, planning, economics, business, public policy or another relevant discipline.
• A minimum of five years of relevant professional experience.
• Experience supporting and/or delivering advisory, consulting, planning, development or management services for infrastructure programs and projects.
• Demonstrated experience in one or more infrastructure sectors such as transportation, energy, water, health, social infrastructure or urban development.
• Experience in one or more advisory service areas such as strategic planning, business cases and economic analysis, procurement and commercial advisory, governance, risk management, asset management or operational readiness.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex information into practical recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Support advisory assignments for public and private sector clients across planning, development, procurement, delivery and operations.
• Contribute to business cases, economic analysis and investment planning with clear recommendations.
• Develop procurement and commercial strategies including traditional and alternative delivery models.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary inputs, manage deliverables, and monitor scope, schedule, budget and quality.
• Prepare reports, presentations and client materials for key decision-makers.
