A leading automation company in the Region of Waterloo seeks an experienced Industrial Automation Technician to support the installation and maintenance of industrial press systems. Qualifications

• Minimum of ten years of work experience in an Industrial Automation Specialist role.

• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Support the repair, modernization, installation, and maintenance of industrial press systems.
• Evaluate electrical and automation components for customer repair projects.
• Program and troubleshoot PLCs using platforms such as Allen Bradley, Siemens, and GE Fanuc.
• Perform installation, commissioning, start-up, and functional testing of automation systems.
