You will deliver high-quality solutions for clients while growing professionally within a collaborative environment.
You will lead hydrogeology projects, manage scope and budgets, mentor junior staff, and work with hydrologists, geochemists, and engineers. Occasional travel may be required.

Stantec has an opportunity for a Senior Hydrogeologist to join our Environmental Services team. The position will ideally be in Waterloo or Ottawa, Ontario, but there is flexibility to be based out of other hydrogeology-centered offices. We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic and ready to deliver high-quality solutions for our clients while learning and growing as an individual and as part of a team.
Stantec Supports Your Career Growth WithAs a Senior Hydrogeologist, you will play a key role in a wide variety of projects and must be able to work within multi-disciplinary teams. The role will involve managing a multi-discipline scope of work within a team of hydrologists, hydrogeologists, and geochemists and interacting directly with clients. Strong quantitative hydrogeology skills are required with the ability to interact with groundwater modeling and geochemical specialists.
Primary responsibilities will involve performing key tasks to support/lead hydrogeology projects or project components.
Post-secondary educational background, ideally M.Sc., specializing in a Geoscience or Engineering program with an emphasis on hydrogeology
Minimum of 20 years of relevant working experience in consulting or regulatory environment, regularly using and analyzing hydrogeologic data
Professional registration or eligibility is required (P.Geo. or P.Eng.)
Valid Driver’s License required
Typical office environment working with computers and remaining sedentary for long periods of time.
