Job summary

HTS Engineering Ltd. is the largest independent commercial HVAC manufacturers’ rep in North America, with 20 locations in the US and Canada.

HTS has a vibrant look and brand promise and seeks an experienced HVAC mechanic to service equipment across existing accounts, perform startup and maintenance tasks, and help ensure code-compliant installations. The role requires 5+ years in the HVAC commercial service field, a valid driver’s license, and strong communication and presentation skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in HVAC Commercial Service.
• Gas Technician 1 and 313A are assets.
• Knowledge of major equipment (York Carrier, Engineered Air, HTS line).
• Base knowledge of BAS systems.
• Experience estimating mechanical repairs is a plus.
• Strong organizational and communication skills; presentation abilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular HVAC mechanic duties and tasks including startup and maintenance.
• Inspect and evaluate condition of mechanical equipment in existing accounts and recommend actions.
• Provide quotes for corrective actions as required.
• Implement repairs or revisions including design changes per local codes.
• Inspect and supervise maintenance, repairs, and construction activities; maintain records.
• Attend and participate in site meetings.
• Receive and complete work orders per departmental policies.
• Supervise and monitor HVAC technicians; ensure HTS safety policies.
• Collaborate with HTS Service Sales, Equipment Sales, Parts/Aftermarket and Controls Team.
• Other duties as assigned.
