Valtech: The Experience Innovation Company

Technology has remade the way we live, work, and connect. Every day new products, services, and features are raising our expectations in every aspect of our lives. It’s become common for whole new categories and consumer behaviors to emerge and disrupt legacy businesses. And as it becomes easier to digitize, launch, and evolve, the rush to leap ahead is quickly becoming a race to parity. Now that technology has once again leveled the playing field, we believe the next frontier and greater value lives in the experience. And that means the world needs a new kind of company to unlock that value.

THE OPPORTUNITY

At Valtech, we’ve got opportunities to offer you — for learning; for growing; for making world-changing impact; for being a real agent of change. Our global workforce exists to unlock a better way to experience the world, and that all starts with our workplace. We’re proud of:

As a Sr. HRBP at Valtech you’ll be at the forefront of aligning people strategies with business goals, offering thought partnership and practical HR guidance to drive impact. You’ll serve as the primary HR contact and strategic advisor for your assigned Service Line, collaborating closely with leadership, providing data-driven insights, and owning the execution and success of people-related initiatives. Whether you’re supporting change management, championing talent development, or helping leaders navigate organizational complexity, you’ll play a key role in fostering a culture where people and performance thrive.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Strategic HR Support

  • Act as the primary HR partner for your assigned Service Line, fully accountable for aligning HR initiatives with business objectives.
  • Lead the analysis of Service Line HR data and metrics (Peakon, Lattice, Dayforce), identifying trends, presenting insights to leadership, and owning the delivery of action plans.
  • Participate in and influence strategic planning meetings (Service Line or Regional) to provide HR insights and perspectives.

Stakeholder Management

  • Build and maintain high-trust relationships with senior leaders, acting as a critical voice in strategic discussions.
  • Ensure alignment and collaboration across Service Lines and the broader P&C function.
  • Design, lead, and implement HR strategies in partnership with Senior P&C leadership, with end-to-end accountability for your Service Line.
  • Oversee the rollout and adoption of programs, measure effectiveness, and adjust strategies to maximize impact.

Employee Relations

  • Own and lead the resolution of complex employee relations matters, ensuring a fair, consistent, and legally compliant approach.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to leaders and employees, fostering a culture of transparency, accountability, and mutual respect.

Talent Management

  • Own talent management planning within your Service Line — including succession planning, performance reviews, and development strategies.
  • Identify growth opportunities, mentorship pathways, and learning programs.

Change Management

  • Guide leaders through change initiatives such as org design, M&A, and process shifts.
  • Contribute and execute communication strategies that support employee engagement and buy-in.

Compliance & Risk Management

  • Stay informed on local HR laws and ensure Service Line compliance.
  • Facilitate training sessions to raise awareness of policies and legal requirements.

HR Analytics & Reporting

  • Use HR tools to track engagement, turnover, and key workforce metrics.
  • Create and present reports and dashboards for leadership, identifying areas of opportunity.
  • Partner with P&C Leadership to turn insights into action.

Project & Thought Leadership

  • Participate in cross-functional HR initiatives at the regional level.
  • Stay ahead of HR trends and bring fresh, relevant thinking to the table.
  • Act as a thought partner and innovation driver in shaping Valtech’s people strategy.

Minimum Qualifications

  • This role requires fluency in Spanish to support our bilingual teams
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in HR roles, preferably in a business partner or generalist capacity.
  • Tech-savvy, with a strong grasp of HR systems and a knack for using digital tools to drive impact.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR compliance in Canada and the US (federal).
  • Data-driven mindset with a passion for improving employee experiences.
  • Exceptional communication skills — clear, empathetic, and action-oriented.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working across a matrixed and multinational organization.
  • Experience in developing or supporting Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion initiatives is a plus.
  • Experience working in a media or creative agency environment is considered an asset.
  • Opportunities to influence business strategy and lead large-scale, strategic people initiatives.
  • Exposure to executive-level decision-making and enterprise-wide transformation projects.
  • Potential career paths include, HR Director, or specialization in areas like Talent Development or Employee Experience.
