DESCRIPTION:

We are looking for a Senior Human Resources Business Partner for a 12–18-month term to support business strategy alignment, employee lifecycle management, HR programs, and change initiatives. Reporting to the Manager, Human Resources, you’ll provide expert advice, support organizational structures, facilitate investigations, and manage recruitment, onboarding, performance assessments, and employee transitions.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Business Partner Support and Consultation: Coach management, provide HR advice, interpret policies, support organizational redesign, and apply change management methodologies.
  • Employee Lifecycle Management: Support recruitment, onboarding, employee development, investigations, and offboarding processes.
  • HR Program and Project Support: Implement HR programs, design succession plans, facilitate performance assessments, and collaborate with related teams.
  • Change Management: Support change initiatives, gauge engagement, develop mitigation plans, and assist during crises.

Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

  • Post-secondary degree in Business, HR, or related field.
  • 7-10 years’ experience as a strategic HRBP.
  • Strong business acumen, communication, and influencing skills.
  • Experience with MS Office, Oracle Cloud is an asset.
  • CPHR designation and union experience are assets.

This position starts in July 2024 at ATCO Park East-04, Calgary, with a five-day in-office schedule. Occasional travel to field locations is required. Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted. Final candidates will undergo a Security Clearance Check.
