A leading company in lime and limestone production seeks a Senior HSE Specialist for its Eastern Canada operations. This role involves managing health, safety, and environmental programs, ensuring compliance with regulations, and promoting a positive safety culture. The ideal candidate will possess a degree in a relevant field and a minimum of 5 years' experience in the industry, with strong skills in communication, project management, and problem-solving.
Reporting to theCorporate Affairs & Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Manager, Eastern Region, the Senior HSE Specialist will be a HSE business partner to Graymont’s operating plants, terminals and regional offices.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Senior HSE Specialist will assist the plant managers and other plant leaders in coordinating, implementing and maintaining the health, safety and environmental programs primarily for the Eastern Canada (ECAN). Furthermore, this individual will support the company HSE activities by achieving corporate objectives, driving overall ECAN improvement of plant safety culture and promote OneGraymont strategic approach :
