Your responsibilities will be as follows:
Responsibilities:
- Ensure site compliance with applicable federal and provincial OHS laws and regulations.
- Maintain an ongoing regulatory watch and adapt internal policies accordingly.
- Develop, implement and monitor prevention programs for each site, based on specific risks.
- Conduct risk analyses and periodic inspections.
- Participate in the investigation and analysis of accidents/incidents, recommend corrective measures and ensure follow-up.
- Conduct OHS training sessions for employees, supervisors and managers
- Work closely with health and safety committees (HSCs) at each facility
- Manage environmental aspects of sites (conduct internal environmental audits, implement environmental management plans)
- Implement a culture of eco-responsibility
In order to join Groupe Robert's team, you must have:
Requirements:
- Diploma or certificate in OHS (industrial hygiene or other appropriate discipline).
- Minimum 3 years' experience in HSE prevention management, ideally in a multi-site context.
- Knowledge of legislation and regulations (provincial and federal)
- Proficiency in Office suite software.
- Bilingualism in French and English (oral and written).
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to work with minimal supervision in a context of change and continuous improvement.
