Job summary

Golderado Contracting Corporation in Fort Saskatchewan seeks an experienced HSE Manager to oversee safety, environmental protection and regulatory compliance on high hazard industrial construction sites.

You will lead JHAs, safety audits, investigations and training, coordinate emergency procedures, and ensure daily site documentation. Commitment to travel and flexible hours required; health benefits and vacation pay provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years hands-on Safety Manager experience on civil, industrial, or commercial construction sites.
• Civil/industrial/construction experience is an asset.
• Travel required; valid driver’s license with clean abstract.

Responsibilities

• Ensure adherence to OHSE standards, EPA guidelines, and local statutory requirements.
• Conduct JHAs, safety audits, and daily site inspections for high-risk tasks.
• Lead accident, injury, and near-miss investigations; file reports and implement corrective actions.
• Deliver safety orientations, toolbox talks, and training for employees and subcontractors.
• Coordinate response procedures for fires, chemical spills, or site evacuations.
• Participate in weekly safety meetings.
• Review workers FLHA's and maintain safety documentation.
• Track project site safety statistics.
