As we continue to grow, we are seeking a HR Senior Generalist/HR Managerto join our HR team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and adaptable HR professional who enjoys both strategic involvement and hands-on execution across a wide range of HR functions. The ideal candidate brings broad HR experience and excels in fast-paced, evolving environments that require adaptability and a proactive approach.
Key Responsibilities
- Translate business needs into HR strategic initiatives that align with company goals.
- Partner with hiring managers to support full-cycle recruitment efforts, from posting to onboarding.
- Support and coordinate the implementation of HR initiatives and programs across the business.
- Maintain and update employee records in the HRIS system, process employee lifecycle changes including new hires, terminations, promotions, and other transactions.
- Generate and analyze HR reports and dashboards (e.g., headcount, turnover, demographics, recruitment metrics).
- Manage full-cycle payroll processing and administration, including biweekly payroll, ROEs, year-end, benefit enrolment, and RRSP contributions.
- Support and guide the performance review process, including goal setting, feedback, and performance improvement plans.
- Support initiatives that foster employee engagement, satisfaction, and a positive workplace culture.
- Provide day-to-day support to employees on HR policies, benefits, and employee relations matters.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources.
- CHRP designation preferred; PCP designation considered an asset.
- 5+ years of progressive HR experience in a corporate and fast-paced environment.
- Broad experience across HR functions, including employee relations, talent management, recruitment, compensation, and organizational development.
- Strong understanding of Ontario employment laws and regulations
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills with a proven ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills; advanced proficiency in Excel and MS Office Suite.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; fluent in written and spoken English.
