Job summary

ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems, Direct Business - Canada seeks a Director of Human Resources to lead national HR programs and people operations. You will manage regional HR Managers, ensure compliance, and drive compensation, benefits, and workforce planning across Canada.

You will partner with senior leaders to integrate acquisitions, harmonize policies, and coach teams while balancing risk and business needs in a large multi-site organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field and 8+ years HR experience in multi-site or national settings in Canada.
• 3+ years in people leadership directly managing HR Managers or HR Partners.
• Deep knowledge of Canadian employment standards and human rights across provinces.
• Experience leading HR integration for mergers and acquisitions is required.
• CHRL, CPHR, or equivalent designation is strongly preferred.
• Ability to balance compliance with business needs and risk in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach a regional HR team across Canada to ensure consistent service delivery.
• Drive national HR programs, policies, and compensation across multiple provinces.
• Partner with executives to align workforce planning, integration, and change initiatives.
