Job summary

Welltower is seeking a Paralegal to support senior housing and independent living assets in its Canadian portfolio. The role involves transactions, operations, entity management, and coordination with outside counsel and internal teams.

Strong background in corporate and real estate law with a focus on senior living is preferred. The successful candidate will assist with regulatory compliance, facilitate transactions, and provide general legal support across departments.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in legal transactions.
• Experience with entity creation, acquisitions, licensing, and healthcare regulatory compliance.
• Bachelor’s degree with 5 years’ experience or Associate’s degree with 7+ years of paralegal experience.

Responsibilities

• Manages day-to-day asset management of independent living platform.
• Reviews vendor contracts, services agreements, and basic commercial contracts.
• Handles routine legal matters such as waiver letters and correspondence.
