Job summary

Fitch Ratings is seeking a Senior Analyst in Toronto to cover the Healthcare & Pharmaceuticals sector, joining a North American Corporates team. You will analyze quantitative and qualitative drivers of credit quality, build robust financial models, and interact with management teams to obtain insights that inform rating opinions.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree with 3–5+ years in credit analysis, strong Excel/Word proficiency, and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 3–5+ years of credit analysis experience; healthcare sector knowledge a plus.
• Proficiency in Excel and Word.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform analysis of key quantitative and qualitative factors affecting credit quality in Healthcare & Pharmaceuticals sectors.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive financial models.
• Engage with industry management teams to gain insights and enhance analysis.
• Present analyses to internal credit rating committees and participate in evaluations across Corporates and related credit groups.
• Communicate rating rationale to external audiences (institutional investors, sell-side analysts and media).
• Contribute to timely and effective research on topical issues.
