Job summary

Nokia in Ottawa is seeking a seasoned Program Manager to organize and drive hardware development from prototype to NPI, with high visibility across the organization. You will collaborate with engineering, operations, procurement and external suppliers to ensure timely execution, manage schedules, risks and supplier relationships, and provide executive updates on program status.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of program management experience in ASIC, IC, hardware, or technology.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to independently prioritize tasks, drive execution, and resolve issues with minimal guidance.

Responsibilities

• Organize and drive complex hardware development from prototypes to NPI.
• Coordinate supplier engagement and prototype planning.
• Serve as a liaison between internal and external teams.
• Manage integrated schedules across ASIC, hardware design, operations, and manufacturing.
• Lead supplier meetings and track commitments.
• Negotiate contracts with Procurement and manage component delivery.
• Prepare status reports and executive updates.
• Identify and resolve issues to ensure timely execution.
• Drive programs with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
• Foster proactive hardware development and problem-solving.
