About the role

Aesthete Hair Salon, a boutique home salon in Bonner, ACT is seeking an experienced Senior Hairdresser to join the team on a part-time basis. As a Senior Hairdresser, you will be responsible for providing exceptional hair styling and colouring services to our diverse clientele. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and creative environment, contributing to the continued success of our well-established salon.

What you'll be doing

1. Providing high-quality hair cutting, colouring, and styling services to clients
2. Advising clients on the latest hair trends, products, and treatments
3. Maintaining and developing your technical skills through ongoing training and development (provided)
4. Contributing to the overall success and growth of the salon by delivering outstanding customer service
5. Mentoring and supporting junior stylists to help them develop their skills
6. Ensuring the salon's high standards of hygiene and safety are upheld at all times

What we're looking for

1. Minimum 3 years of experience as a Senior Hairdresser in a professional salon environment
2. Needs to be available on a Monday, Wednesday and every second Saturday. Extra days are available for the right fit
3. Proven expertise in a wide range of hair cutting, colouring, and styling techniques
4. Strong customer service skills and the ability to provide personalised consultations
5. A creative flair and passion for the latest hair trends and industry innovations
6. Excellent time management and organisational skills
7. A positive, team-oriented attitude and the ability to work collaboratively as there is only one senior and one assistant
8. Current hairdressing qualifications and registration
