Job summary

Maplesoft Group, an SEB Company, is seeking a Senior Guidewire Developer for a full-time permanent role. This hybrid position allows work from Toronto, Mississauga, or Guelph with two days on-site to build and enhance Guidewire-based insurance solutions.

You will design, configure, and integrate PolicyCenter workflows, collaborate with IT teams, and apply emerging technologies, including AI tools, to deliver high-quality software for complex insurance programs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of IT experience.
• Strong Guidewire and PolicyCenter experience.
• Experience with integrations and APIs.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Build and enhance insurance solutions using Guidewire PolicyCenter.
• Configure Guidewire PolicyCenter and develop workflows.
• Integrate Guidewire solutions with existing systems and develop new functionality.
• Customize out-of-the-box Guidewire features to meet requirements.
• Develop high-quality code, perform unit testing, and follow standards.
• Collaborate with designers and partners to translate requirements into plans.
• Evaluate technologies and determine appropriate solutions.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the team.
• Support testing and troubleshooting activities.
• Contribute to implementation, back-out, and disaster recovery planning.
