Job summary

Intact Financial Corporation in Canada seeks a Guidewire Developer to support migrating the BillingCenter platform to Guidewire Cloud SaaS as part of the T Billing Development team.

You will design, implement, and test Java applications while collaborating with QA, business analysts, and stakeholders in an Agile setting. Bilingual French-English communication across the country is required.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Minimum 2+ years developing on Guidewire platforms.
• Strong Java development experience.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the migration of Guidewire BillingCenter to the Cloud SaaS version.
• Enhance and develop functionalities meeting user needs.
• Design solutions, analyze issues, and choose appropriate approaches.
• Prepare work effort estimates for assigned tasks.
• Program, test, debug, and document solutions.
• Develop Java applications and services in an Agile environment.
• Collaborate with QA, Business Analysts, and stakeholders.
• Promote software development best practices.
