Job summary

BCAA seeks a Guidewire Cloud Developer to help deliver scalable insurance technology on the Guidewire Cloud Platform. You’ll work with business and tech teams to ensure secure, high‑performing solutions while growing BCAA's internal Guidewire capability.

The role requires hands‑on config and development using PolicyCenter and BillingCenter, plus ACE certification, Gosu and Java expertise, and API integrations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent.
• 3+ years experience in Guidewire development, cloud implementation, integrations, or Guidewire platform support.
• Active Guidewire ACE Certification.
• Strong hands-on experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter and/or BillingCenter.
• Strong Gosu and Java, OO programming.
• Experience developing integrations using REST and/or SOAP APIs.
• Knowledge of event-driven, messaging, and batch integration approaches.
• Familiar with Agile delivery practices.

Responsibilities

• Support PolicyCenter and BillingCenter on the Guidewire Cloud Platform.
• Review designs, configurations, integrations, and cloud solutions to ensure alignment with requirements and standards.
• Configure Guidewire applications using Guidewire Studio (PCF, workflows, data model).
• Design and support integrations using APIs, messaging, and integration frameworks.
• Collaborate with architecture, security, DevOps, QA and vendors to deliver scalable solutions.
• Support defect triage, testing, and production stabilization; conduct code reviews and promote best practices.
• Contribute to development standards, integration patterns, and cloud practices.
• Support knowledge transfer to mature internal Guidewire capability.
