Job summary

Talentmatics Inc. in Markham, Ontario, seeks a Senior Guidewire ClaimCenter Integration Developer to lead the design and implementation of integration solutions. You will drive our cloud transformation by leveraging Guidewire Cloud to enhance Claim workflows.

Collaborate with the Senior Manager - Software Engineering, mentor teammates, and ensure robust code, testing, and deployment practices. Experience with Guidewire tools and REST/JSON APIs is essential.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
5+ years proven experience in Guidewire ClaimCenter Integration Development.
Expertise in GOSU language, Guidewire tools, accelerators, and plugins.
Read code in other languages and reverse engineer products.
Proficiency with Agile methodologies and tools (Git, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Jira, Confluence).
Domain knowledge on Property & Casualty Insurance.
5+ years Guidewire development experience.
5+ years coding Gosu language.
Experience designing and developing business database applications.
Experience building modern web apps and REST/JSON APIs.
Customer-centric design and design thinking.

Responsibilities

Lead design and implementation of integration solutions with Guidewire Cloud.
Build diagrams, design documents, and deployment plans.
Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
Develop functional requirements and external system integrations.
Ensure standard development, testing, and deployment practices.
Mentor team members and promote continuous improvement.
Consult on Guidewire upgrades and patches.
Diagnose complex issues and optimize system performance.
