Your resume and cover letter, tailored to exactly what they’re hiring for.
Wealthsimple Inc. seeks a growth marketer to own net-new SMB acquisition in Canada. You will build the acquisition engine from the ground up, test channel mixes, and scale what works.
You’ll run growth experiments, define messaging, and execute webinars and partnerships to reach new SMB audiences. You’ll partner with Demand Gen and embed AI to accelerate testing, optimize funnels, and drive pipeline handed to Sales.
A demonstrated habit of using AI to accelerate your work: building lead enrichment workflows, generating and testing creative at scale, or surfacing insights from data faster. You treat AI as a core part of how you work
An analytical mindset: you use data to diagnose funnel problems, prioritize opportunities, and recommend what to do next, not just report on results
4–6+ years in growth or performance marketing, with a track record of generating demand and measuring it through to downstream pipeline value
Experience running net-new-audience programs (webinars, partnerships, co‑marketing) aimed at reaching new audiences, not nurturing existing ones
Experience building and running growth experiments: channel tests, funnel optimization, CAC/LTV analysis. You don’t just execute a media plan someone else designed
Clear written communication: able to translate test results and positioning ideas into something a cross-functional team can act on
Comfort operating in a segment or product with limited brand awareness. You understand how messaging, channel mix, and creative have to work differently when you’re introducing a category to someone who doesn’t know it exists yet, not comparing features for someone already does
You’re as comfortable in the numbers as you are in the creative. This role needs both
Experience marketing specifically to small and medium-sized businesses, understanding how SMB buyers discover, evaluate, and choose financial products
Experience running go‑to‑market for a product or benefit launch across paid, lifecycle, and product surfaces
You think like an owner. You don’t wait to be told which experiment to run next
You’re competitive in a healthy way. “Let’s go win this” is a mindset, not just a talking point
You’re comfortable being judged on outcomes you can’t fully control yet, because the category itself is new
You’re motivated by ambiguity and building from scratch, not maintaining an existing channel
You partner well. You know acquisition and nurture only work if the handoff between them is good
Experience in consumer fintech, investing, brokerage, trading, or crypto platforms
