Job summary

CIMA+ Vancouver is seeking a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to lead multidisciplinary geotechnical studies across public and private sectors. You will guide projects from planning through reporting and mentor junior engineers.

The role offers a hybrid work model in British Columbia, with opportunities in dam, slope stability, and infrastructure projects. P.Eng. designation in BC or eligible within 12 months is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of geotechnical engineering experience and a track record of leading medium- to large-scale studies.
• Proven ability to manage complex projects and work in multidisciplinary teams.
• P.Eng. designation in British Columbia or eligibility within 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Lead geotechnical studies from planning through reporting with technical excellence.
• Plan and design projects including site investigations and data analysis.
• Mentor and supervise junior engineers to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Build and maintain client relationships and contribute to proposals.
