Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Geological, Civil, or Geotechnical Engineering (Master’s or PhD an asset).
• 7+ years of relevant industry experience.
• Professional Engineer in good standing with P.Eng designation, or eligibility to obtain license to practice.
• Experience in dam engineering, dam safety, geotechnical design, and/or dam construction.
• Knowledge of relevant Canadian and global dam guidelines and standards helpful.

Responsibilities

• Design, analysis, and construction of dams, reservoirs, dykes, spillways, and hydropower projects across Canada.
• Conduct Dam Safety Reviews and inspections per Canadian Dam Association Guidelines.
• Manage geotechnical-focused and multidisciplinary project teams.
• Mentor and be mentored to foster technical excellence and continuous learning.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and build strong client relationships.
• Contribute to business development, proposals, and market expansion.
• Drive innovation through digitization, advanced numerical modeling, and emerging technologies.
