Job summary

PICS Society seeks a General Manager for the Guru Nanak Diversity Village Care Community. You will lead the long-term care operations, ensuring safe, compassionate, culturally sensitive care in a homelike setting. You will coordinate with Optima Living as the managing partner and report to the Regional Director.

The role requires strong leadership, budget oversight, regulatory knowledge, and cross-cultural sensitivity to serve diverse residents and families.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Health Administration, Business Administration, Nursing, Gerontology, Healthcare Management preferred.
• Minimum of five years health management experience including budgeting and regulatory compliance.
• Experience managing multidisciplinary teams and complex operational issues.
• Fluency in Punjabi, Hindi and Urdu is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership and day-to-day operation of the Long-Term Care community.
• Lead resident services, clinical care, staffing, finance, environmental and food services, safety and quality improvement.
• Develop and manage budgets and monitor financial performance.
• Foster partnerships with residents, families, staff and external stakeholders.
