Job summary

AWS Professional Services in Canada’s Montreal region seeks an experienced ML/GenAI consultant to help clients adopt ML and GenAI on AWS. Translate business problems into technical solutions, collaborating with ML engineers and cloud architects to deploy production-ready models.

Fluency in French and English is required; 5+ years in data science or ML engineering with a focus on scalable, production-ready solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience with AWS or cloud technologies
• 5+ years of experience as a data scientist or ML engineer with experience building ML models and GenAI systems
• Fluency in French and English is required due to the nature of the role that requires interaction with other Amazon entities globally and with Amazon employees and stakeholders in other provinces in Canada
• Knowledge/experience of data governance principles and practices
• Knowledge/experience of data consumption, visualization and reporting

Responsibilities

• Understand customer business challenges and needs, structure the problems, and organise them as business requirements.
• Identify the technical AI/ML requirements and select AWS services and algorithms. Collaborate with experts to design validated ML/GenAI solutions.
• Support customers on ML/GenAI projects from start to finish, providing technical sales support and deployment on underlying infrastructure.
• Collaborate with ML engineers, cloud architects and application developers to build production-ready ML/GenAI solutions.
• Work with a wide range of IT tools including AWS services (Bedrock, SageMaker, AgentCore), Git and Docker, and ML/GenAI frameworks such as Strands-Agents, PyTorch, Transformers.
