Job summary

2K Games in Montreal Studio seeks an experienced Technical Test Analyst to drive automated testing for a major AAA game. You will implement sophisticated automated tests and extend existing suites to cover complex systems, ensuring reliable game-state insights.

You will analyze defects, maintain CI/CD pipelines, and translate manual test needs into technical specs within the automation framework. This role is hybrid and centers on quality engineering for large-scale titles.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional experience in software testing or quality engineering.
• 2+ years focused on automation programming and test scripting.
• Strong proficiency in Java, Python, C#, Bash, Lua, or PowerShell.
• Experience extending test coverage using Selenium, Appium, or JUnit.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.

Responsibilities

• Complex Test Implementation: design and script automated tests for complex game systems.
• Automation Scripting and Support: extend existing scripts as features evolve.
• Technical Defect Analysis: investigate issues using automation logs and diagnostics.
