Job summary

Frima Studio Inc. in Quebec City and Montreal is seeking a Producer to oversee the production cycle for one of our full-development video game projects. You will plan staffing with discipline directors, mitigate risks, manage budgets and priorities, coach your team, and collaborate with English-speaking partners as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• Around ten years of production management experience in video games.
• Experience on at least one shipped AAA or AA title.
• Experience managing risks, budgets, dependencies and priorities.
• Ability to travel internationally when required.
• Excellent written and spoken French and English.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the planning and monitoring of the entire production cycle.
• Work with discipline directors to plan staffing based on expertise and milestones.
• Analyze risks and propose solutions to prevent delays and budget overruns.
• Engage, guide and support your direct team with coaching and feedback.
• Develop training plans and support internal succession planning.
• Build trust with partners and act as main contact in your area.
• Contribute to initiatives to strengthen your discipline community.
