Job summary

Frima Studio in Quebec City and Montreal is seeking an experienced Producer to oversee the planning and monitoring of the entire production cycle for our AAA/AA games. You will collaborate with discipline directors to staff projects, manage risks, budgets, dependencies, and priorities, and coach your team to deliver on milestones.

This role requires fluency in French and English, international travel as needed, and a passion for shipping high-quality titles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or equivalent.
• Approximately ten years of production management experience in video games.
• Experience on at least one shipped AAA/AA title.
• Experience managing risks, budgets, dependencies and priorities.
• Ability to travel internationally when required.
• Excellent written and spoken French and English.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the planning and monitoring of the entire production cycle.
• Work with discipline directors to plan staffing based on milestones.
• Analyze risks and propose solutions to prevent delays and budget overruns.
• Coach and support direct team members with ongoing feedback.
• Develop employee growth plans and succession within the company’s priorities.
• Build trust with partners and be the main contact for your area of expertise.
