Job summary

Crossing Hurdles is seeking a Senior Fullstack Engineer to design, develop and optimize scalable fullstack applications using React and modern backend technologies. This remote contract role requires 10-40 hours per week and offers $20-$55/hour.

You will drive high‑performance frontend work, implement secure authentication and API integrations, optimize databases for scale, and collaborate on architectural tradeoffs.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in advanced frontend engineering, focusing on React performance and state management.
• Proven backend system design experience, API development, and scalable architectures.
• Solid understanding of authentication protocols and secure app design.
• Experience with database management, optimization, and complex queries.
• Hands-on experience with DevOps basics, CI/CD, deployment, and monitoring best practices.
