Jobgether is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer (Contractor) based in Canada to deliver intuitive, performant, accessible digital experiences. You will own user-facing features from design handoff through deployment while contributing to backend work when needed.

The role blends strong front-end expertise with API work in Ruby on Rails, collaborating with product managers, designers, and engineers. You will mentor teammates, help set engineering standards, and uphold a user-first mindset

Qualifications

• 5+ years in frontend or full stack software development.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and SPA frameworks.
• Experience with React, Vue, or similar frameworks.
• REST API experience; backend work when needed.
• Ruby on Rails experience is a strong advantage.
• Strong accessibility and WCAG practices.
• Excellent collaboration and communication.

Responsibilities

• Build and improve user-facing features in a modern SPA.
• Translate product requirements into scalable front-end code.
• Develop with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and frameworks; collaborate across stack.
• Contribute backend REST APIs in Rails when required.
• Maintain design system consistency and product standards.
• Mentor junior engineers and review code.
