Job summary

Fleetworthy is seeking a senior full stack developer with Dev Lead experience to lead teams building web apps using Python frameworks and REST APIs. You will design scalable ETL pipelines with Databricks, optimize PostgreSQL schemas, and drive testing and code quality.

You will collaborate with product and cross-functional teams, mentor juniors, and contribute to robust, scalable solutions in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Senior-level full stack developer with Dev Lead experience.
• Strong Python proficiency and modern web frameworks.
• Hands-on with Django/Flask/FastAPI for web apps and APIs.
• Experience building RESTful APIs and data pipelines with Databricks.
• Proficient SQL/PostgreSQL; schema design and optimization.
• Experience with unit testing (pytest) and automated testing.
• Version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions).
• Knowledge of Jira and modern software development workflows.

Responsibilities

• Lead team and projects; collaborate with product and tech.
• Design, develop, and maintain web applications with Django/FASTAPI.
• Build and integrate RESTful APIs; ensure data quality and reliability.
• Implement scalable ETL/data workflows using Databricks or similar.
• Write efficient SQL; manage PostgreSQL schemas and queries.
• Develop tests; participate in integration and end-to-end tests.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve stack issues; ensure code quality.
• Collaborate cross-functionally and guide junior developers.
