Techso in Montreal seeks a Senior Full Stack Java Developer to design and build digital solutions for clients in Montreal and abroad. You will influence architectural decisions, mentor developers, and help enhance development practices.

The role involves delivering new features, refining existing apps, and contributing to pre-sales through effort estimation. A strong emphasis on collaboration and quality is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, software engineering, or related field.
• At least six years of Java development experience.
• Strong Java/OOP and Spring Boot expertise.
• Solid front-end experience with React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Knowledge of SQL and Hibernate.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop new applications.
• Enhance existing solutions by adding features and fixing issues.
• Analyze requirements and contribute to solution architecture.
• Prepare technical and functional specifications.
• Estimate effort for projects.
• Participate in deployments and change-management activities.
• Ensure code quality via reviews, unit tests, and best practices.
• Improve Agile practices, CI, and automated deployments.
• Contribute to pre-sales by estimating effort and evaluating new technologies.
• Share expertise and mentor junior team members.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary Agile Scrum teams.
