Job summary

Fleetworthy is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to contribute hands-on in our agile team, turning design into production-ready features for our next-gen compliance platform. You will work across the stack with Vue/Vuex on the front end and .NET on the back end, mentor peers, and collaborate with product management to deliver business outcomes in a remote-friendly, globally distributed environment.

Qualifications

• Several years of professional full-stack software engineering experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with documentation and remote-work experience.
• Ability to own work, deliver under pressure, and mentor peers.
• Experience partnering with product management to deliver business outcomes.
• Experience working across multiple time zones in a remote or hybrid environment.
• Development: Vue.js 2 or 3 / Vuetify / Vuex / Webpack
• Testing: Jest / Vitest

Responsibilities

• Write production-ready, well-tested code across front-end and back-end, guided by observability data.
• Architect and review reusable, efficient code following Clean Code / SOLID principles.
• Understand and align with team architecture; apply security considerations in code and reviews.
• Design low-latency, high-availability applications across the full stack.
• Contribute to front-end (Vue/Vuex) and back-end (.NET) development with consistent patterns.
• Own SQL query performance and influence database design decisions.
• Apply microservice and micro front-end architecture best practices.
• Identify and pay down technical debt; decide when to refactor or rewrite.
• Share DevOps responsibilities and promote observability tooling.
