Job summary

Lillio is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain web applications using Ruby on Rails, React, and GraphQL. Join a tight-knit Product & Engineering team dedicated to elevating early childhood programs with innovative design and quality solutions.

You will lead technical decision making, mentor peers, and help drive secure, scalable architectures while collaborating with product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver impactful features.

Qualifications

• 5+ years as a software engineer.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• Strong knowledge of relational databases.
• Experience with Ruby on Rails, GraphQL and React.
• Familiarity with AWS, PostgreSQL, and Heroku.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain web applications using Ruby on Rails, React, and GraphQL.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to define requirements.
• Mentor and coach peers through code reviews and guidance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues as part of the on‑call rotation.
• Lead technical decision making and establish best practices for the team.
