Fleetio is seeking a Senior Solutions Engineer for a remote Canada-based role. The team focuses on turning strategic, funded commitments into shippable Fleetio products, influencing outcomes for key accounts, and closing large deals while ensuring long-term support for customers.

• Partner with Product, Design, and Engineering peers to make pragmatic scope decisions and deliver iteratively.

Senior Solutions Engineer

Fleetio is hiring a remote candidate for Senior Solutions Engineer. This is a full time position. Work location: Canada.

This is a remote opportunity and is open to candidates in the United States, Canada, or Mexico.

Description This role sits within Solutions Engineering, focused on delivering scoped, funded commitments that win and keep our largest accounts — shipped as a durable Fleetio product that can be supported like the rest of the platform. If you’re excited by high-impact, high-visibility engineering work: this team turns key-account commitments into a real, shippable product so Fleetio can win strategic deals and support those customers long-term. The engineers in this role will directly influence outcomes for key accounts and help close some of the largest deals at Fleetio.

Your impact

Your experience

• 5+ years of experience with Ruby on Rails
• 2+ years with React
• Strong experience building and shipping production web applications with a focus on quality and maintainability.
• Experience collaborating with non-technical stakeholders, translating needs into technical plans, and managing expectations.
• Ability to decompose complex requests into milestones and deliver incrementally.
• Strong written communication and comfort working in a remote, async-friendly environment.

Nice to have

• Experience working on a large-scale Ruby on Rails application.
• Experience working on customer-facing platform/product capabilities that support enterprise accounts.
• Experience partnering with go-to-market teams (Sales, Customer Success) on delivery of time-sensitive commitments.
