Job summary

Jobber is seeking a Senior Front-End Developer to advance our modern Jamstack stack. You’ll work with Next.js, Sanity, React, and TypeScript on getjobber.com, shaping the UI and performance for a fast, accessible experience.

In this senior role you’ll mentor peers, define standards with the Engineering Manager, and help drive AI-assisted development across the site. Location is flexible in our Canadian hub cities.

Qualifications

• Proficient in building production-grade front-end applications using Next.js and React.
• Strong TypeScript experience and an eye for accessible, high-performance UI.
• Experience with headless CMSs and integrating APIs and services.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools and practices.

Responsibilities

• Build and ship features on getjobber.com using Next.js, React, and TypeScript.
• Contribute to a shared component library and design system for consistency.
• Improve performance, accessibility, and SEO across pages.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, and Backend teams on patterns and architecture.
• Leverage AI-assisted workflows to accelerate development while ensuring quality.
