Scotiabank in Toronto, Ontario is seeking an AI Platform Software Engineer to design, build, and operate scalable AI/ML platforms for production workloads. You will develop reusable platform services, APIs, and self-service tooling to accelerate AI adoption across the bank.

Expect collaboration with data scientists, application teams, security, and risk, plus hands-on work with Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud-native services to ensure reliability and governance across enterprise deployments.

Formación

• Bachelor-level or equivalent in CS/Engineering/ML
• 3+ years building production-grade software
• Proficiency in Python/Java/Scala
• Experience with Azure/AWS/GCP cloud services
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Hands-on with MLOps and CI/CD
• Knowledge of ML concepts, data pipelines, and feature engineering
• Experience with modern frontend frameworks (React/Angular/Vue)
• Secure software development practices and access controls
• Experience building internal developer platforms at scale

Responsabilidades

• Design and maintain reusable platform services for AI workloads
• Build scalable APIs, orchestration layers, SDKs, and self-service tooling
• Implement production-grade MLOps and LLMOps (CI/CD, versioning, testing, observability)
• Collaborate with data scientists, security, and architecture teams
• Develop and operate containerized workloads with Kubernetes and Docker
• Support retrieval-augmented generation, vector search, and enterprise integrations
• Ensure reliability, security, governance and production readiness of platforms
• Evaluate new AI platform tools and cloud services for enterprise adoption
• Participate in incident response and performance tuning
