REW.ca, a leading proptech platform in Canada, seeks a Senior Front End / Full Stack software engineer with strong React expertise. In-office role in Vancouver 2–3 days per week, driving frontend architecture and scalable data access.

You will mentor peers, contribute to architecture decisions, and collaborate with product, design, backend, and data teams to ship high-quality features.

Qualifications

• Proven React development experience focused on quality and performance.
• Strong front-end architecture knowledge and design patterns.
• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, SASS, and JavaScript (React primary).
• GraphQL integration and API design expertise.
• Experience delivering code on time; capable of mentoring and code reviews.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration.
• Nice to have SaaS/Proptech scaling experience.
• Familiarity with AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Familiarity with Rails integration with React.
• Experience with React Native is a plus.

We’re seeking a highly skilled Senior Front End / Full Stack software engineer with deep expertise in Javascript/React.

We are looking for a self-driven Senior Software Full Stack Developer (heavily front-end leaning) who offers technical leadership, hands-on development, architecture, and mentorship. This role will help shape the technology powering one of Canada’s most trusted destinations for home buyers and sellers.

As part of our team, you’ll help architect scalable applications, design modern front-end systems, and integrate a wide range of advanced data sets and services. Beyond building, you’ll play a critical role in mentorship, raising the bar for both our codebase and our culture.

• Deep experience with a variety of FE development tools and libraries.
• Worked on at least 2 production React-based web projects from initial FE stack setup to finish.
• Lead the design, development, and integration of front-end architectures.
• Work on integrated (FE/BE) architecture and development approaches.
• Architect and implement GraphQL-based integrations for scalable and efficient data access.
• Have experience of designing shared component libraries in collaboration with UI/UX designers.
• Implement unit testing and integrate it with continuous integration tools as required.
• Identify and champion front-end best practices, ensuring extensibility, performance, scalability, and maintainability.
• Provide technical mentorship and conduct thorough code reviews to raise the overall bar for the team.
• Collaborate closely with product, design, backend, infrastructure and data platform teams to deliver high-quality, customer-focused features.
• Own some aspects of release management, ensuring smooth deployments and stable production environments.
• Act as a thought leader, influencing technical strategy and contributing to the team’s long-term success.

• Proven professional experience in React development with a focus on quality, reliability, delivery and performance.
• Advanced knowledge of front-end architecture and design patterns.
• Proficiency in HTML5, SASS, CSS3, JavaScript (primarily React while CoffeeScript with ES6+ is a plus).
• Expertise in GraphQL integrations and API design.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver quality code on-time and on-target, mentor peers and conduct effective code reviews.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence technical and product decisions.
• Experience with scaling SaaS or proptech applications. (Nice to have)
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS). (Nice to have)
• Familiarity with Ruby on Rails and React integration and implementation (Nice to have)
• Experience with React native architecture, development and best practice usage (Nice to have)

Annual compensation for this role is $125,000 - $150,000, depending on demonstrated experience.
