Job summary

Raise is seeking a Senior Front-End Developer / Team Lead in Toronto, ON, to join a client-facing engineering team. You will design, implement, and maintain enterprise web applications while guiding front-end initiatives and mentoring junior developers.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of front-end web development experience.
• Strong JavaScript development experience.
• Strong HTML5 and CSS/SCSS experience.
• Experience with Vue.js OR comparable modern front-end frameworks (React preferred).
• Experience working with state management libraries such as Pinia, Vuex, Redux, or similar.
• Experience with Git/GitHub source control and modern development workflows.
• Experience working with Node.js packages and front-end build tooling.
• Experience building responsive web applications.
• Strong knowledge of web accessibility standards.
• Experience participating in release management and deployment processes.

Senior Front-End Developer / Team Lead

• Location: Toronto, ON - Hybrid (Wednesday third Friday)
• Pay Rate : $82.39/hr - $95.23/hr
• Contract Length: 6 Months with possibility for extension

Must-Have Requirement:

• Experience working with state management libraries such as Pinia, Vuex, Redux, or similar.
• Experience with Git/GitHub source control and modern development workflows.
• Experience working with Node.js packages and front-end build tooling.
• Experience building responsive web applications.
• Strong knowledge of web accessibility standards.
• Experience participating in release management and deployment processes.
• Demonstrated ability to operate as a senior-level independent contributor with minimal ramp-up time.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Nice to Have Skills:

• Pinia experience.
• Mobile, hybrid mobile, or native application development experience.
• Knowledge of REST APIs and JSON integrations.
• Unit testing and UI automation testing experience.
• Banking or financial services experience.
