Reshift Media is an award-winning digital marketing agency headquartered in downtown Toronto, seeking an experienced Front-End Developer with Angular expertise. You will implement and maintain front-end code across web apps, ensuring pixel-perfect results and cross-device compatibility.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience building web applications.

We are looking to add new experienced members to our team who can play an essential role in maturing the company’s approach to engineering excellence.

We are seeking an experienced Front-End Developer who has experience working with Angular and loves pushing around pixels to match design specifications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing user-friendly and visually appealing websites and applications. You will be responsible for implementing and maintaining the front-end of our web applications, as well as ensuring their compatibility across different devices and browsers.

Responsibilities

• Create intuitive, robust, reusable, and customer facing web user interfaces using modern frameworks.
• Develop and debug complex web applications in multiple UI and web technologies.
• Maintain code quality by using or implementing development best practices.
• Collaborate with a team of designers and developers.
• Work closely with the UI/UX design team and bridge the gap between the design and software development team.
• Solve advanced UX problems and suggest the best technology to solve the problem.
• Capable of working both independently and in collaboration with others.
• Self manage tasks and time; work remotely with minimal supervision.

Desired Skills And Experience

• 4+ years of experience with building web applications.
• Strong knowledge of Angular, HTML, CSS, and Typescript.
• Keen eye for details, and able to convert designs to pixel perfect, fully responsive implementations.
• Experience with Ionic, Capacitor and mobile application development.
• Strong understanding of SDLC and experience in delivering complex large-scale applications.
• Hands-on experience with agile development methodologies and workflows.
• Experience with source control (e.g. Github) and modern software delivery techniques and tools.
• Good documentation/annotation habits.

Bonus points

• Design Experience and exposure to tools such as Zeplin and Figma.
• Have proficiency with cross browser/cross platform issues, DOM, accessibility and web standards.
• Understand JavaScript frameworks, consumption of RESTful web APIs, linting & unit testing (Jasmine, Mocha + Chai or Karma, etc.).
• Native mobile app development experience.
• Back-end Node, Express experience.
• Some exposure to DevOps best practices and cloud computing.
