BTA Design Services is seeking a Senior FPGA Design Engineer for an on-site role in Ottawa. You will own FPGA design from specification through implementation, collaborating with hardware, verification, and systems teams to deliver robust, production-ready designs.

The ideal candidate has 10–15 years of FPGA experience, strong SystemVerilog skills, and expertise in clock domain crossing and timing constraints. The role is full-time and on-site with a long-term engagement.

Qualifications

• 10–15 years of hands-on FPGA design experience.
• Expert SystemVerilog design skills.
• Experience identifying and solving clock domain crossings.
• Hands-on experience configuring synthesis tools.
• Strong timing constraints (SDC) expertise.
• Ability to analyze synthesis reports and improve designs.
• Willingness to work on-site in Ottawa.

Responsabilités

• Design and implement FPGA logic from spec to production-ready design.
• Collaborate with hardware, verification and systems teams.
• Own the synthesis flow and timing closure.
• Contribute to design reviews and documentation.
