Job summary

LeverageTek Staffing Solutions is seeking a Senior Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis for a 12-month contract to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis for an Ottawa-based client. The role is fully remote with availability in Eastern or Atlantic time zones.

You will lead FP&A activities, develop financial models, support long-term forecasting, and work with department heads. CPA is a strong asset; not-for-profit experience is helpful.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of FP&A experience with senior-level leadership.
• Strong financial modelling, forecasting, budgeting, costing and Excel skills.
• Strong SAP experience, preferably in a legacy SAP environment.
• Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
• Experience managing others or providing senior-level guidance and leadership.
• CPA designation is a strong asset; experience in not-for-profit environments is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Support the annual budgeting process with department heads to develop financial plans.
• Identify drivers and drive budgeting efficiencies for operating performance.
• Attend finance and operations reviews to explain variances and results.
• Develop, maintain, and document financial models for forecasting and program funding.
• Support long-term forecasting, deferred revenue reporting, ROI analysis, and ad hoc analyses.
• Recommend improvements to finance practices and reporting while ensuring compliance.
• Collaborate with IS and corporate services to improve tools, reporting data, and processes.
